> Mockshop - Common Question and Answers
Do we need to buy any specialist equipment to run Mockshop?
Mockshop is designed to run on a standard Windows PC. The only "specialist" equipment is the recommended nVidia or ATI graphics card. This provides significantly enhanced performance in the Virtual 3D store. However, we do recommend that you purchase a photo studio that complies with our specification. The only "specialist" equipment within the studio is the invisible hangers and measuring device.
How much training is needed?
Users who are familiar with Windows can be trained and operational within 3 days, however, there is a lot of detailed functionality within Mockshop and the Visual Retailing suite and, therefore, we recommend each user follows a 5 day course.
How long does it take to implement?
Of course this depends entirely upon what you want to achieve. However, clients have been producing full colour catalogues of their product ranges and visual store planograms within 3 days. In our experience the software can be installed on the server and 5 workstations in one morning. Assuming your data is available and organised, it can be imported and your system operational within 2 days. The speed of implementation is driven by the business objectives and resource availability and commitment.
